Likewise, Apple has also issued updates for El Capitan users which you can get by opening the Mac App Store and clicking on the Updates button at the top of the screen. If you’re having problems with Office 2011 crashing in El Capitan, we also show you how to fix Office El Capitan problems in the 2011 version. Next, we will configure your Mac to sync your various IMAP folders and prevent duplicate folders from showing up. We call this Folder Mapping; below are the steps to do so. Close all windows so that you are looking at your mailbox's Inbox; Click on the Sent folder underneath your email account (not the Sent folder with the paper airplane) 3. Overview This article walks you through the steps for setting up the following versions: Mail 11.2 on OS X El Capitan Mail 11.2 on macOS Sierra (10.12) Mail 11.5 on macOS High Sierra (10.13.6).

With Outlook 2016 on my Macbook Pro I am not able to send attachments larger than about 10 MB. The program accepts multiple attachments of any size but the transmission fails after trying for about 5 Min. I receive an error message (sorry, my OS is installed with German):

'Ein auf dem Server ausgeführter Vorgang wurde abgebrochen. Der Server ist eventuell überlastet, die Serververbindung wurde abgebrochen, oder das Netzwerk ist ausgelastet.' (A process on the server was aborted. The server may be overloaded, the connection to the server may have been interrupted, or the network is overloaded.)

Then 'Senden der Email nicht möglich.' (Email cannot be sent.)

Then: Fehlercode: -1001. (Error code -1001.)

I can receive emails with attachments of any size; with an older computer with Outlook I can send attachments of any size using the same email-account; and the Apple 'Mail' program can send attachments of any size.

I am using: Office 365 for Mac, Macbook Pro, El Capitan, Outlook 2016; email-account is POP3, T-Online.

Does anybody have a idea what is going on here? Does anybody know where the preferences for Outlook are stored and how to check or change them? I understand that it is possible to limit the email size in the preferences, although the program doesn't complain about the size, it simply fails to transmit larger emails.

I will be happy for any tip you can give me.
